SIR PIPPIN
A grand example of resilience...
Our team mascot is an Irish Thoroughbred gelding born in Ireland on March 25, 1996. We call him "Sir Pippin" however he raced under his registered name, Warning Note. He had starts in Europe and the U.S. and briefly participated in Steeple Chase events.
Sir Pippin is a grandson of the great Northern Dancer (Kentucky Derby Winner 1964) is now retired and resides in northern Baltimore County, Maryland. I grew up riding English, won numerous ribbons on my pony Crown Prince and many years later was gifted Pippin in 2011. My goal is to retire him with honor and dignity and raise awareness of these noble creatures by sharing him with others. He has greeted visitors from infancy to 97 years young and is currently available to visit by appointment.
